10 Craft Ideas To Do With Peanuts & Snoopy Coloring Pages

Here are 10 affordable, fun, and creative craft ideas you can do with your completed coloring page!

10. Holiday Greeting Cards

I have Snoopy illustrations that would suit numerous holidays, including Christmas, Easter, Halloween, and Valentine’s Day, so why not turn them into DIY greeting cards?

You can copy/paste the image into a word processor and resize it to your liking – I recommend the half page (for the easiest folding) or the quarter page (for slightly more complicated folding).

If you do the quarter-page, you should put the illustration upside down in the top left corner. Trust me, when you fold it up, it’ll make sense!

Then you could type the message in the bottom right corner, though I favor a nice hand-written message!

9. Button Snoopy

For this craft, you’ll need many buttons in different sizes and shades of white (plus black). That can include cream, pearl, pure white, etc.

You and your kids will glue the buttons onto the illustration, filling in Snoopy and varying sizes and colors.

It could be helpful to lay out how you want the buttons before you start gluing them down – but that’s just a personal preference.

Once you’re done, you should frame the page because it will be so adorable you will want to display it to everyone!

8. Snoopy Pencil Holders

You’re going to need empty toilet paper rolls to make this craft. If your TP rolls aren’t white, you can cover them with rolled-up computer paper cut to size.

You will have your kids pick Snoopy illustrations, color them in and cut them out. If you want, you can reinforce the figures with cardstock.

Then you will glue the toilet paper rolls to the back of the cut-outs so that they stand up on their own.

You can then use them to store pencils, pens, markers, paintbrushes, and anything!

7. Mantle Christmas Wreaths

You’ll need the Snoopy-Themed Christmas Wreath to Color to make a beautiful wreath for your mantle at Christmas time.

Print that off, have your kids color it in, then cut it out carefully; they might need help getting Snoopy out of the middle.

You’re going to glue Snoopy right above the bow; you can also have your kids add little embellishments, like pom poms, to the wreath circle or a real ribbon bow.

Next, poke a hole in the top of the wreath and string some gold or silver cording through. Tie it off and use it to hang your wreath from the fireplace mantle.

6. Party Decorations

Whether you’re decorating for a Christmas party, a birthday party, or even a baby shower, my Snoopy illustrations can be used in many ways.

The figures can be colored in, cut out, and strung together to make bunting or even mobiles that you can hang from the ceiling.

They could also be used as food markers, place settings, or table décor.

5. Finger Paintings

For the young – and young at heart – you can set up a table with a vinyl tablecloth and non-toxic fingerpaints and let your kids have at my Snoopy illustrations.

Encourage them to get their hands messy and explore color, texture, and more as they color in Snoopy and his friends.

4. Bookmarks

So many of my Snoopy illustrations would make adorable bookmarks – the most challenging part will be choosing just one or two!

You can resize the figures by copying/pasting the illustrations into a word processor, have your kids color them in, cut them out, and paste them into construction paper rectangles.

Or you can paste the whole image into a rectangle of construction paper.

Don’t forget to punch a hole at the top of your bookmark and string some yarn through for the “tail’!

3. Keychains

To make keychains, you’ll need shrink sheets, keychain hardware (which you can find online at Amazon or in a craft store), and access to an oven.

Have your kids pick out which Snoopy characters they want and then print them off on the shrink sheets.

They’ll color them in with markers and then cut them out. Before baking them off, though, they’ll punch holes wherever they want the keychain accessories attached.

Bake and cool completely, then attach the keychain hardware.

2. Calendars

Because so many of my Snoopy illustrations are holiday-themed and timely, they’d make adorable monthly or weekly calendars.

You can print them off and have your kids color them in; then either handwrite or use the computer to make the days/weeks portion of the calendar on another page.

You’ll punch holes in the bottom of the illustration and the top of the days/weeks page so that they line up and then connect the two with string, ribbon, or even yarn or twine.

Poke a hole in the top of the illustration page and string cording through for something to hang the calendars with.

1. Masks

You can turn some of my Snoopy illustrations into masks – I recommend Simple Coloring Sheet of Charlie Brown or Smiling Snoopy With Flowers Coloring Picture.

Your kids can color in the faces or leave them blank and color-free, and then they’ll cut out just the heads.

They will then poke holes on either side of the head and attach pieces of string or yarn; the pieces should be long enough to meet behind your child’s head and be tied.
